I plan to make wheel weights to fit inside each rear wheel of my B1550. These are similar to the ones made on the Hacker's web page (Mike's tractor page). I need to know what would be the suggested weight to use at each rear wheel. I want to get the maximum weight in the rear without damaging anything. I'll use this strictly for snow removal. Additionally I do have a weight bucket that I suspend from the rear using chains when using the loader but I can't use that when I attach a rear blade to use for snow removal. I'll use both loader and rear blade to move snow. Thanks in advance. Stanley

STANLEY,
I HAVE A 2710 WHICH I PLAN TO PLOW WITH A GRADER BLADE AND LEAVE THE BUCKET ON.
I AM INSTALLING 25# WEIGHTS INSIDE THE WHEEL RIM JUST LIKE YOU DISCRIBE. THE MAX. I CAN PUT ON IS 25# X 6=150# PER WHEEL. I WOULD LIKE MORE. I WOULD SAY PUT ON AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. 6 PLATES FOR ME FIT INSIDE THE WHEEL RIM. THEY ARE 12" X 1.5" WITH A 1" BORE.LET ME KNOW HOW IT WORKS OUT.
FRED ....

One other problem that I am having is locating the 12" steel weights. But they certainly will work great once I get a bunch of them. ....
